Chad Harris serves as senior vice president and group president of Healthcare Provider and Applications for ACS. He is responsible for the entire Healthcare Provider business, including:
- Revenue cycle outsourcing
- IT Outsourcing
- Consulting
- MIDAS+ healthcare analytics
He is also responsible for the horizontally focused Application Solutions business, including:
- ERP System Integration
- ERP Hosting
- Messaging
- Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) Outsourcing
Previously, Harris served as managing director of commercial markets in the company’s IT Outsourcing group. He was responsible for more than $500 million in business, including:
- All large accounts (greater than $40 million in annual revenue)
- All new business entering the group
- The healthcare IT Outsourcing business
A key achievement during his nine-year tenure with ACS has been developing the organization and service delivery models that propelled the company’s growth in the healthcare IT industry.
Prior to joining ACS, Harris spent five years as CEO of Computer Systems Development, Inc. (CSD), which specialized in IT infrastructure and application outsourcing for the healthcare industry. (ACS acquired CSD in 2000.)
Harris holds the following degrees:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration from New Mexico State University, with a major in management information systems and a minor in economics
- An executive MBA from the Robert O. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of New Mexico.
